Larkspur bear Delphinium-like flowers on upright, strong stemmed plants. Soft green feathery foliage sets off the handsome long floral spikes of double blossoms. Flowers quickly from seed. Larkspurs are an outstanding variety for cut flowers.
SOWINGSow seed outdoors as soon as the ground can be worked or start indoors 6 to 8 weeks earlier. Plant in rows 18 inches apart, spacing seed 1 inch in row. Cover seed with inch of fine soil, well pressed down. Keep soil moist until plants start to grow. Satisfactory results are obtained by planting seed outdoors as late as early summer.
THINNINGWhen plants are 2-3 inches high, thin or transplant 12 to 15 inches apart.

REMARKSLarkspur prefers a cool climate and germinates best at temperatures in 55-60 degree range. Performs best in full sun but will tolerate partial shade.
