Variegated Baby Rubber Plant: Peperomia obtusifolia ‘Lemon Lime’ – 4 inch pot

The Peperomia Obtusifolia is a variety of Peperomia commonly referred to as The Baby or American Rubber Plant. Originally from South America’s rainforests, it has nothing to do with rubber production. It isn’t in the same family as the “Rubber Plant” Ficus elastica. Instead, it is part of a massive family of Peperomia: a Genus with 1000+ known species, all with thick, fleshy leaves that contribute to their drought tolerance and vigour.

The ‘Lemon Lime’ variety has lighter green outer margins on its foliage, adding a very light visual contrast.
