Hoya Carnosa Tricolor – 14cm Hanging

Hoya carnosa ‘Tricolor’ (also known as Krimson Princess) produces thick, fleshy leaves with a green centre bordered by creamy-white margins, often flushed with pink on newer foliage. The variegation varies from leaf to leaf, giving each stem a painterly quality. It trails or climbs depending on how it is grown, and in the right conditions it produces clusters of fragrant, star-shaped, pale pink flowers with a glossy, porcelain-like texture. A classic hanging plant that improves with age.

Origins
Hoya carnosa is native to East Asia and Australasia, where it grows as an epiphyte in tropical and subtropical forest canopy. ‘Tricolor’ is a cultivar selected for its pink, cream, and green leaf variegation.
