Philodendron billietiae – 10 inch pot – 2-3 foot tall

Philodendron billietiae, native to Brazil and the Guyanas, is a stunning aroid known for its vibrant orange stems and elongated, spade shaped leaves. Although it only entered the houseplant market in 1995, it has quickly become a favorite “statement plant.” It undergoes a major transformation as it grows: juvenile leaves are small and arrow-shaped, but mature foliage becomes massive with deep ridges and a distinctive leathery texture. Providing a moss pole as it ages is essential for it to reach its full size.
