Carrot Early Chantenay is a short rooted carrot, ideal for shallow soil, and is much favoured for its early maturity.

The brilliant orange colouring and delicious, sweet taste make this a welcome source of carotene and Vitamin A.

Great companion plant for beans, coriander, cucumber, marigold, lettuce, peas, radish, rosemary, sage & tomato.

To aid germination, maintain even moisture by laying a plank of wood over row and remove after germination.
