Germination: Keep the soil moist but well-drained. Germination usually occurs within 14-30 days.
-
Transplanting: If started indoors, transplant seedlings into individual pots once they are large enough to handle. Harden off before planting outdoors in late spring.
-
Planting: Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil. Space plants 30-45cm (12-18 inches) apart to allow for healthy growth and airflow.
-
Care: Water regularly, especially during dry spells, and deadhead spent flowers to encourage continued blooming. Liatris is generally low-maintenance and drought-tolerant once established.
