A firm yet tender, medium-sized yellow onion – sweet, mild, and delicious raw or cooked. A great choice for northern gardeners. Good storage qualities. 150 seeds minimum Germination: 10-21 days Maturity: 100 days from transplant Direct sow deep in full sun as soon as soil can be worked. In northern climates, start indoors 10-12 weeks before last frost date. Plant multiple seeds into each container. Harden off seedlings before planting. Plant 2 seeds per inch in rows 12-18 apart. Thin to 4-6 apart for larger onions. To transplant, separate young plants and set 4-6 apart.
