Organic ‘Siberian Blues’ Carnation

The Siberian Blues Carnation instantly charms with its delicate lavender-blue flowers, a rare shade that brings freshness and refinement to borders and rockeries alike. This compact perennial forms a dense and elegant cushion, perfect for structuring small spaces while offering generous blooms from the very first season. In the garden, its subtle fragrance pleasantly accompanies summer strolls and attracts pollinators, especially bees and some butterflies in search of nectar. Its low and orderly silhouette makes it an ideal choice for front-facing plantings, sunny beds, and container growing. Robust and floriferous, it thrives in well-drained soil and tolerates drier conditions once established, making it an easy plant to integrate into a sustainable garden. Its evergreen or semi-evergreen foliage, depending on the climate, also extends its ornamental appeal well beyond flowering. In a horticultural setting, it pairs gracefully with aromatic and drought-tolerant plants, creating a vibrant, fragrant, and biodiversity-friendly tableau. Year after year, this perennial carnation returns to beautify the garden with consistency, softness, and character.
