East meets west with this Japanese plum bred in the USA in the 1900s. Produces large plums with golden flesh, they are chin-dribblingly juicy when the skin turns from bright red to purple indicating plums are fully ripe. A self-pollinating plum that will pollinate other Japanese plums in yours, and possibly your neighbours’, backyard. If you’ve only got room for one plum tree, this is the one. Grafted on Marianna rootstock.
