The ‘String of Bananas’ is a succulent with long stems that can reach over a meter. In its natural habitat, it is a trailing plant. As a houseplant, it is appreciated in a hanging pot with its gracefully drooping stems. The drooping stems adorned with small curved leaves are reminiscent of the shape of a banana, hence its name. This plant requires plenty of light to maintain its good health. During the winter, from December to the end of February, it likes to rest by reducing its light, ambient temperature, and watering frequency.
