This amazing orange-fleshed watermelon consistently delivers 25-pound, deliciously sweet and crisp fruits with pretty alternating dark and light green stripes on the skin. The orange color means its packed with beta carotene and vitamin c. Some say the flavor is distinctive too – a little hint of tropical fruit perhaps? Introduced by the Willhite Seed Company of Poolville, Texas (renowned for their many watermelon selections) in the early 1960s.
